I'm Abidemi Sanusi, author, book coach and founder, Ready Writer
I’m a former human rights worker turned hybrid author, with 10 full-length books, including Eyo, which was nominated for the Commonwealth Writers’ Prize. I’ve been traditionally published, self-published, and everything in between.
I created Ready Writer to help committed writers stop dreaming, start writing, and finally finish the book they’ve been carrying for years, with systems, tools (including ethical AI tools), support, and structure that actually work.
As a former Head of/Director Content and founder of a digital agency, I’ve lived and breathed writing from every angle, strategic, creative, commercial, and deeply personal. And I know what it takes to turn intention into a finished book you’re proud of.
If that’s what you’re here to do, then you’re in the right place.

My values
I’m not here to sell you hype.
I won’t promise bestseller status or six figures in 90 days.
What I do offer is real guidance. Quiet, ruthless focus…
… A sustainable way to write the book that’s been following you around for years.
At Ready Writer, we don’t chase clout.
We honour the work. We show up. We finish.
And we build a writing practice that lasts, with structure, ethical AI tools, support, and systems that actually work.
Readers reward us by buying our books.
Then we scale.
Who I work with
This space is for you if:
- You’ve been thinking about your book for months or years, but still haven’t started, much less finished it
- You’re done with fluff, clickbait, and burnout advice
- You want to grow your skill, your confidence, and your follow-through
- You’re ready to write a book you can be proud of
Whether you’re just starting out or finally ready to finish, I’m here to help you do it, clearly, consistently, and in a way that fits in with your life, not a fantasy life sold to you by a self-appointed guru.
About my programmes
My programmes are designed for authors writing clean and thoughtful books.
That includes crime, women’s fiction, thriller/suspense, contemporary fiction, memoir, and meaningful stories that explore life’s challenges in a considered way.
Difficult themes are welcome when they’re handled with care.
However, my programmes work best for authors writing in these genres. If you’re writing paranormal romance or erotica, Foundations may not be the right fit.
Not sure? Reach out, I’m happy to chat.
Let’s work together to build the habits, clarity, and confidence you need to write, finish and publish your book.
